CinnaGen Co. pioneers Iran’s pharmaceutical export

IRNA: Dr. Mohammad Reza Monazzam, Manager of Health Technology Development and Industrial Relationship Office, announced that “this is a big honor for country’s high-tech health industries that Cinnagen and Aryogen have been chosen from 1100 assessed companies, and have achieved five-star ranking”. Emphasizing on the fact that this great achievement is made possible under sanctions, he added: despite the activity of various high-tech industries present in the country which reap the benefits of sophisticated technologies, it is the pharmaceutical industry and health technologies proven competent in the highly competitive international markets of high-tech products, and increase country’s currency earnings.

Manager of Health Technology Development and Industrial Relationship Office further explained: The Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, International Affairs and Technological Center has established Iran’s High-Tech Export Companies Club. This establishment has initiated the selection and ranking of the best exporting knowledge-based companies according to indicators in three domains of technical issues, corporate infrastructure, and the amount of domestic and foreign sales.

He added: 1100 companies were technically assessed among which 513 companies were fully assessed and from them 4 companies were introduced as 5-star, 227 companies were introduced as 4-star, and 103 companies were introduced as talented. He said: with strong exporting infrastructure and gaining secured foreign markets, producers of high-tech products could achieve 5-star rank. In addition, this companies acquired at least 85 percent of all scores, produced a high-tech product with at least 60 percent of technical score, hold a patent or a report of no patent infringement, and exported products of a total value of at least $1M.

Along with Cinnagen and Aryogen, companies Pouyesh Darou and Fanavaran Nano Meqyas were in the list of 5-star companies.
